A Mission to Return to the Qur’an, From unclear matters to adjudications
Darul Asr is an educational and Qur’an-centric initiative dedicated to reviving the message of the Qur’an in both understanding and practice. Its core mission—“رجوع إلی القرآن” (Returning to the Qur’an)—guides all its efforts in reconnecting individuals and communities with the divine revelation in a meaningful, structured, and accessible way.
In pursuit of this mission, Darul Asr has outlined the following key objectives:

- Comprehensive Arabic Language Course
The journey begins with mastering Arabic as a living language.
Students will follow a structured curriculum based on the official course book: “aap Arabi zaban seekh sakte hain” (You Can Learn Arabic) authored by Talib Jalal.
Subtitle: Arabic Made Easy: A Structured Approach from Elementary to Advanced Proficiency
By the end of this course, students will be able to independently read and understand the Qur’an and other Arabic texts, in shā Allāh. - Qur’anic Studies Program (Ta’leem al-Qur’an)
Upon completion of the Arabic course, students will embark on a comprehensive study of the entire Qur’an—reading, reflecting, and understanding it in depth, bi’idhnillāh. - Publication of Qur’an-Centric Literature
Darul Asr is committed to producing educational and reflective literature to deepen the connection with the Qur’an. This includes resources for children and adults, focusing especially on the Muḥkamāt (clear and decisive verses). - Spreading the Qur’an in Multiple Languages
Translating and distributing the Qur’an in various languages to reach broader audiences and support da‘wah efforts globally. - Women’s Engagement with the Qur’an
Training and deploying qualified female instructors to help women engage with the Qur’an meaningfully and confidently. - Organizing and Systematizing Qur’anic Sciences
Streamlining and teaching the disciplines related to Qur’anic knowledge in a well-organized, accessible manner. - Qur’anic Analysis of Ancient and Modern Jāhiliyyah
Offering Qur’an-based critique and insights into both classical and contemporary forms of ignorance and misguidance. - Qur’anic Response to Sectarianism and Disunity
Addressing religious divisions and differences through the unifying and healing message of the Qur’an. - Clarifying Qur’anic Ethics and Social Conduct
Teaching moral and ethical guidelines from the Qur’an and demonstrating them through the Prophetic model (Sunnah). - Interpreting Modern Challenges Through the Qur’an
Providing clear and grounded Qur’anic responses to modern intellectual, social, and cultural issues. - Revival of the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the Way of the Companions (Sahābah)
Upholding the foundational sources of Islam and reviving their relevance in today’s world. - Establishing the Centrality and Finality of the Qur’an
Promoting the Qur’an as the ultimate and conclusive guide for all times and circumstances.
